Reigate Beekeeper Audrey Gill has received a Mayor’s Community Award. At a ceremony in the Town Hall at Reigate on 16th November, around twenty individuals and groups were presented with awards for conspicuous contribution to the community in their particular fields. Audrey was the last to receive her award as she had been singled out by the trustees to receive the major award of the evening – the Outstanding Achievement Award. The full citation was ‘for her dedication and commitment to Voluntary Service in the Local Community in the Outstanding Achievement Award category’.

All of us who know Audrey know how much she deserves this wonderful accolade. Well done Audrey!
