Surrey Integrated Pest Management Day hosted at the Reigate Association Apiary at Mickleham
Beekeepers from six divisions were instructed on different methods to better control pests within their hives these included the use of mesh floors, drone trapping, icing sugar dusting testing for resistant mites and being led through the hives to demonstrate various pest management techniques available for them to use in their home apiaries

After the theory, two groups put their new knowledge into practice with practical demonstrations on some of the association colonies.
